Quick Takes
Mary Chapin Carpenter has accepted an invitation to perform her poignant song 'Why Walk When You Can Fly' at the Democratic National Convention in Los Angeles on August 16. The song - from her Grammy Award-winning and double platinum CD 'Stones In The Road' - will be enhanced for the occasion by the illustrious 125-piece Los Angeles-based choir, Angel City Chorale. Mary Chapin's performance will immediately follow the acceptance speech by vice presidential nominee Joe Leiberman.
