Angel City Chorale (ACC) will reunite with Composer Christopher Tin at our upcoming spring concerts, Elements, on Saturday, June 7, and Sunday, June 8, 2014, at 7:00pm on both evenings. The concerts will feature the West Coast Premiere of Tin’s new song cycle, The Drop that Contained the Sea and will be held at the Wilshire United Methodist Church in Los Angeles. The much-anticipated follow-up to Tin’s Grammy Award-winning album, Calling All Dawns, the new work is based on ancient texts about water. Conducted by ACC Founder and Artistic Director Sue Fink, ACC performed the West Coast premiere of Calling All Dawns at its 20th Anniversary Concerts last year.
