Your donations help expand Angel City Chorale’s outreach through concerts and programs that build musical bridges across age, gender, political views, sexual orientation, religion, race, ethnicity, and economic background to communities close to home and around the world. Your support assists us in our outreach programs and in the purchase of, commissioning and arranging of music, renting rehearsal and performance spaces, and myriad components that go into producing our live and virtual concerts.

In 2018 we created the Angel City Youth Chorale. Our member volunteers work with the youth in the greater Los Angeles area including the Boys and Girls Club, and local elementary schools and youth centers, to instill the importance of music in the lives of children. Striving to create a greater awareness of the arts in their lives, they learn the basic elements of music and choral singing skills as well as the rewards of working in community with one another.

Closer to home, our Tour of Hope operates year-round and reaches out across Los Angeles to bring joy and assistance in caring for those less fortunate. We perform and donate to our Los Angeles area soup kitchens, residential facilities, low-income housing projects. nursing homes, hospitals, sober living facilities and other organizations such as LA Goal, an organization committed to creating opportunities and equity for adults with developmental disabilities. In 2011 we traveled to South Africa to perform, raising funds for the Amy Foundation’s sports, arts, music, and education programs. Click here to read more about the Amy Foundation. We continue to foster that relationship today. In 2018, ACC raised enough funds to help bring the Amy Foundation Choir to Los Angeles, most of whom had never traveled outside their township. They joined us in promoting conversation between our two organizations and in singing at our One World, Many Voices concert and other local venues.
