With these 20th anniversary concerts, Angel City Chorale celebrates the choir’s journey over the past two decades as well as the road ahead.
The program starts with Christopher Tin’s Grammy Award-winning Calling All Dawns, which takes the audience on a musical journey around the world, in 12 languages, through day, night and dawn.
Calling All Dawns features the Grammy-winning song “Baba Yetu,” the theme from Civilization IV. The second half of the concert features the choir’s signature repertoire including classical, gospel and rousing R&B favorites.
Please join us as we reunite and celebrate the past, present and future of the choir — the circle of life — in song.
